LXDM is the future lightweight display manager aimed to replace gdm in LXDE distros.
LXDM was started by "dgod" from China and is developed by the LXDE community. The UI is implemented with GTK+. It is still in very early stage, and things are not expected to work correctly. For now, it only works smoothly with Fedora. On Ubuntu and others, there might be some issues.
The code is in the LXDE svn repo.
