Talk:LXSession
How do you run a script on logout? For instance, if I use the autostart dir to mount some network drives, how do I unmount on logout? In Gnome I can use /etc/gdm/PreSession/Default and /etc/gdm/PostSession/Default. -- Fatman
autostart not working
The instructions for using a .desktop file in ~/.config/autostart/ don't work for me. Does this work for anybody else? I made sure there was no line in the desktop file restricting to gnome-only --Bob the Hamster 19:02, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
@Bob : I read that the desktop file needs to be executable
With or without desktop
According to some comments on a different forum, it seems the two methods of autostart (.config/autostart/xxx.desktop and .config/lxsession/LXDE/autostart) give quite different results, in that one of them loads the desktop and the other doesn't. I think this would be useful information if so! -- Rob Pearce
